Howdy! My name's Archie and the volunteers say I'm one of their favorite doggies.....EVER! Yeah, I'm kind of a big deal around here. I'm so glad the police found me and brought me to hang out with the gals at LCHS, I never knew that people were so caring and thoughtful. These ladies are my new best friends, Linda even bought me a new blue harness because my old pink one was too girlie for me. Last week I was neutered at the vet, I jumped right in the crate and off we went on an awesome car ride! I weigh 71 lbs now, hard to believe just 2 months ago I was skin and bones and so depressed. I'm fine with other dogs, but cats look too much like treats to me, so can't be near them. The volunteers say I am a super duper strong boy, but they still manage to take me on walks. Abbie is working on my leash walking skills and I know how to sit too! UPDATE 8-7-12: Archie has been diagnosed with a torn ACL...his surgery is estimated at $775. The shelter is desperately seeking donations towards his surgery or a reputable bully breed or other rescue that will open their doors to him. Please help the sweet man in any way you can! UPDATE 6-25-13: Archie is doing well, he has only a few physical restrictions now and is such a happy boy. Hopefully his furever family will find him soon!
